Gautam Gambhir: A two-match Test series is to be played between the Indian team and Bangladesh and this series is going to be very important for Team India. Actually, this series is a part of the World Test Championship 2023-25.
Currently, the Indian team is on a break but next month they have to face Bangladesh. In such a situation, the new head coach of Team India, Gautam Gambhir, would not want to lose this series and he would like to give a chance to those players who are consistently performing well for Team India.

Actually, Jasprit Bumrah has not played any cricket since the victory in the T20 World Cup 2024, but in this series, Gambhir would like to see him back in Team India. Bumrah is the biggest match winner of Team India in the current era.
Gambhir would like to include this match winner in the playing eleven at any cost. Earlier, Gautam has lost the ODI series against Sri Lanka as a head coach and now he would like to win this series at all costs.
If India has to reach the final of the World Test Championship, then they will have to win this series. A two-match Test series is to be played between India and Bangladesh and it is going to start from 19 September.
The first match between the two teams is to be played between 19th September and 23rd September at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While in the second match, both the teams will face each other between 27th September and 1st October at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
Rohit Sharma can be seen captaining India in this series. He is currently the captain of Team India in ODI and Test formats and Gautam Gambhir would also like him to go to the field with his full strength. However, it will be interesting to see in the coming time whether Team India prepares a spin pitch for this series or prepares some other type of wicket.
Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav.
