Punjab Kings: Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shikhar Dhawan has recently announced his retirement from domestic cricket including international cricket. After which it is believed that Punjab Kings (PBKS) team owner Preity Zinta may soon announce the name of the captain for her franchise.

Captain Shikhar Dhawan did not play some matches for Preity Zinta's team last season. Due to which Sam Curran took over the captaincy of Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 season.

Arshdeep Singh can become the new captain of Punjab Kings

Arshdeep Singh has played only for Punjab Kings in IPL cricket so far. Arshdeep Singh has performed brilliantly so far while playing for Punjab Kings in IPL cricket. Even before the mega auction of the year 2022, the Punjab Kings team had retained Arshdeep Singh.
