Pakistan Cricket Board has removed Nida Dar from captaincy. PCB's women's team selection committee has made 22-year-old fast bowler Fatima Sana the new captain of the team. Now she will be seen leading the team in the T20 World Cup. She will captain in T20 International for the first time. Earlier, she has led Pakistan in two ODI matches. Fatima Sana has so far played 41 ODIs and 40 T20 matches in international cricket on behalf of the Pakistani women's team. Before Fatima, Nida Dar was handling the responsibility of captaincy in all formats of the team, who was made captain in place of Bismah Maroof.

These teams will compete in the group stage

The Pakistani women's team has been placed in Group A for the T20 World Cup 2024. This group includes teams like India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. On the other hand, if we talk about the team, Pakistan has made only one change in the squad participating in the Asia Cup, all the other players are the same.
