The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will now be played in the UAE instead of Bangladesh. The International Cricket Council had recently announced this. This change had to be made due to the violence that broke out in Bangladesh. The tournament will be played from 3 to 20 October at two venues in the UAE, Dubai and Sharjah. Let us tell you, Bangladesh still has the right to host this tournament. The ICC has now also announced the new schedule of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024.
The first match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will be played between Bangladesh and Scotland. A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament, which will play 4-4 group matches. There will be a total of 23 matches in the tournament. These teams have been divided into two groups. Group A has teams from Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. At the same time, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Scotland have been placed in Group B. The semi-final matches of the tournament will be held on 17 and 18 October, and the final match will be played in Dubai on 20 October.
India-Pakistan teams are in the same group for the Women's T20 World Cup 2024. In such a situation, there will be a clash between the two teams in the group stage. This match between India and Pakistan will be played on October 3 at 3.30 pm Indian time. Both teams will face each other in Dubai.
