Actually, many star players of Ranji Trophy were participating in this match and wicketkeeper batsman Nikhil Doru was batting at that time. As soon as Nikhil's wicket fell in this match, the player of the opposing team Shamsher Singh celebrated in an aggressive manner.

After this, when Nikhil was going towards the pavilion, Shamsher made some comments and Nikhil also replied to it. After this, an argument started between the two and then Shamsher's team player Kishan Chaudhary punched Nikhil Doru and then the matter escalated to a fight. However, the umpire came to intervene but by then it was too late.

The police had to intervene

However, the police calmed down the situation and registered an FIR against the accused Kishan Chaudhary and Shamsher Singh on the complaint of Nikhil Doru.
