A little over a week after it was , IPL 2025 is all set to resume. The 18th edition of the cash-rich T20 league shall pick up where it left off on May 17. The remaining 13 games shall be played followed by the Playoffs and then the final shall take place on June 3. Originally, the tournament was supposed to end on May 25.

Points Table

currently top the table. are currently in last position and out of the Playoffs race along with RR and SRH. Seven teams are still fighting for four spots. RCB, PBKS and MI are right now in the top four. DC, KKR and LSG are still in the hunt for a top-four finish but it is an uphill task.

The match between DC and PBKS which was suspended on May 8 due to security reasons will be replayed on May 24. The venue shall be Jaipur instead of Dharamsala. The league stage comes to an end on May 27. The Playoffs are from May 29 to June 1. The last time an IPL final was played on a weekday was in 2023 after Sunday was washed out due to rain without the toss happening. The reserve day was a Monday and the game was played on that day.

KKR are the defending champions while MI are gunning for a record sixth title to keep the tally of most crowns for themselves. They currently share it with CSK who are already out of contention.
