UAE created history by defeating Bangladesh in T20I for the first time

Delhi: In an exciting match, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) made history by defeating Bangladesh by 2 wickets in the second T20 International match. This is the UAE’s first win in T20I cricket against Bangladesh. With this victory, the three-match series has reached 1-1.

Bangladesh won the toss and scored a huge score of 205/5 while batting first. Opener Tanjid Hasan scored 59 runs from 33 balls, while captain Litton Das added 40 runs in 32 balls to give the team a fast start. The middle order also took the front, where Tauheed Hriday played a stormy innings of 45 runs off 24 balls. Apart from him, Najmul Shanto contributed 27 and Zakir Ali contributed 18 runs off 6 balls.

There was no significant impact from UAE in bowling. Mohammad Jawadullah spent 45 runs and Dhruv Parashar spent 40 runs. The economy of most bowlers was more than 10.

The opening pair gave the UAE a great start to chasing the big target. Mohammad Wasim (82 runs, 42 balls) and Mohammad Juhayab Khan (38 runs, 34 balls) made a strong partnership of 100 runs to bring the team to a good position. However, Shoripul Islam dismissed both set batsmen and made Bangladesh a return to the match.

On the score of 148/3, the UAE needed 58 runs in the last five overs. Hyder Ali scored 15 runs off 6 balls and finally Dhruv Parashar played a decisive role.

UAE needed 12 runs in the final over. Tanjim Shakib, who held the responsibility of bowling, threw a full toss under pressure, which Dhruv sent for a six. But he was later dismissed, but due to a no-ball and smart running, the UAE achieved the target with one ball remaining.

This victory is a big record in the history of UAE cricket. Now both teams will be face to face for the decisive victory in the third and final match.
