Vaibhav Suryavanshi Sixes By Captain

Ever since India's young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi entered professional cricket, he has been continuously making records and creating history. Vaibhav, who was doing wonders with his bat till now, has now achieved a new position in captaincy as well. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is captaining the Under-19 team on the South Africa tour, has become the youngest captain to win the series. Under the leadership of Vaibhav, who was captaining for the first time at the age of just 14, India defeated South Africa by 8 wickets (on DLS basis) in the second ODI and thus took a 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Due to injuries to Under-19 team captain Ayush Mhatre and vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra, Vaibhav was given the command of the team for this series. Vaibhav had already made a world record by becoming the captain at such a young age. Now by winning the series they have created a new history. Incidentally, both the matches of the series were interrupted due to lightning and due to this the match was also shortened. But both times India won.

Although in the first match, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had failed with the bat, in the second match the young captain single-handedly wrote the story of South Africa's defeat. Team India had a target of 246 runs to win, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave a strong start to the team in the first 8 overs by batting stormy like T20 cricket in this 50 over match. As soon as Vaibhav came, he hit sixes after sixes and completed his half-century in 19 balls. Before being out on the first ball of the 9th over, Vaibhav had scored 68 runs in just 24 balls, which included 10 sixes and 1 four.

Till Vaibhav was out, India's score was 95 runs. After this Abhigyan Kundu and Vedant Trivedi took charge. However, during this period, the match had to be stopped twice due to lightning, due to which in the end, according to the 'Duckworth-Lewis-Stern' (DLS) rule, India's target for victory was 174 runs in 27 overs. Abhigyan and Vedant made India win the match and the series in the 24th over itself.
