The ongoing 'Don 3' dispute between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment has now become even deeper. According to Variety report, this high-profile case involved several closed-door mediation meetings in the presence of many big Bollywood stars. The case began when Ranveer Singh left the film in December 2025, following which the producers initiated action claiming huge losses. Now this dispute has reached industry bodies and legal notice, where Ranveer Singh has also challenged the decision of Federation of Western Cine Employees i.e. FWICE. The case is still unresolved and remains a big topic of discussion in Bollywood.
Ranveer Singh left 'Don 3' in December 2025, dealing a major blow to the pre-production of the film. Excel Entertainment claimed that it caused huge financial loss to them and started demanding compensation.
According to the report, several unofficial meetings were held in the presence of about 25 industry members. Salman Khan was present in the first meeting. Later stars like Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt also joined them. However, it is being told that Ranveer Singh remained missing in the initial meetings.
According to reports, Ranveer Singh listed four reasons for leaving 'Don 3' in the last meeting.
According to reports, Excel Entertainment's Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani showed WhatsApp chats and claimed that Ranveer Singh had agreed to the script drafts before. He also claimed that there was no post-deal cut in his fees. According to him, Ranveer Singh's claim that there was any change in the budget and schedule of the film is also wrong. Many members present in the meeting considered this as a documented answer.
It is being told that during the meeting, Ritesh Sidhwani directly asked Ranveer Singh that even if 'Dhurandhar' had not been a hit, would he have left 'Don 3'? To this Ranveer also gave an honest answer and said, "No, I am not leaving the film."
Reportedly Ranveer Singh gave a settlement offer to the makers of 'Don 3' in the meeting. He offered him a compensation of Rs 10 crore. Apart from this, he also offered 25 percent discount in his fees for future projects of Excel Entertainment. However, Excel Entertainment rejected his offer.
