But the performance of these countries in the T20 World Cup was worse than expected. These four teams had to bow down even in front of smaller teams.

• Pakistan was placed in Group A. Out of the 3 matches played so far, this team has won only 1 match. Almost the journey of this team has ended before Super 8.
• Pakistan team will have to win the match against Ireland by a big margin, while USA will have to lose the match against Ireland. In such a situation, Pakistan can reach the Super 8.
• England has been eliminated from Group B. The team has not won any of the two matches played so far. One match was washed out due to rain. In such a situation, England won both its next matches by a big margin. New Zealand has been eliminated from Group C, which has lost both the matches played so far.
• Sri Lanka has been eliminated from Group D. The team has lost all three matches played so far.
