Anushka Sharma traveled with Virat Kohli for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

During the IND vs. USA match at the County International Cricket Stadium in New York, Kohli heard a hilarious chant. The Men in Blue defeated the USA by seven wickets in their third game of the tournament and booked their place in the Super 8 stage.

While Arshdeep Singh and Suryakumar Yadav were the top performers for the sub-continent team, a fan chant for Virat and Anushka has gone viral on social media.

To get the attention of the star batter, Kohli’s fans have come up with innovative ways to get his attention.

Virat was again followed by the supporters on Wednesday. “10 Rupe ki Pepsi, Kohli bhai sexy,” and “Diwali ya Holi, Anushka Loves Kohli,’ were heard during the match. Kohli waved and smiled at fans.

Meanwhile, Kohli hasn’t been among the runs in the ongoing global tournament.

In three matches, he has accumulated 5 runs. The right-handed batter was dismissed for a golden duck against the Aaron Jones-led team in the previous game. He posted 1 (5) and 4 (3) against Ireland and Pakistan.

He came to the tournament on the back of a phenomenal IPL 2024. The 35-year-old accumulated 741 runs from 15 innings at an average of 61.75 and a strike rate of 154.69.

India will play against Canada on Saturday, June 15, in their last Group A fixture. India will hope to see Kohli scoring runs ahead of the Super 8.
