In the first match of the Super 8 in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, South Africa defeated USA by 18 runs with the help of Quinton de Kock's half-century and Kagiso Rabada's bowling. Steven Taylor was out after scoring 24 runs with the help of 4 fours and a six in 14 balls. Harmeet Singh played an innings of 38 runs with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes in 22 balls. Gaus and Harmeet added 91(43) runs for the sixth wicket. Rabada took the most 3 wickets from South Africa's side. Keshav Maharaj, Anrique Norkhia and Tabrez Shamsi got the wickets.
