Former India and Karnataka cricketer David Johnson committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor. According to Republic World, he was battling depression.

Kothanur Police has taken his body to Crescent Hospital. Anil Kumble and Gautam Gambhir were shocked to hear the news.

Johnson played two matches for India but fitness issues limited his opportunities at the international level. However, he was successful with Karnataka in domestic cricket.

David Johnson was involved in coaching after his retirement.
