Let us tell you that Pant has been in great form in this World Cup. In the difficult conditions of New York where all the batsmen were struggling to score a single run, Rishabh scored runs with a good strike rate. His innings of 42 runs against Pakistan also proved to be very important in the end because no other batsman could score runs with a good strike rate. Apart from this, in the first match against Ireland, he also played an unbeaten innings of 36 runs and led India to victory. Seeing his fearless game, he has given a big statement during a conversation on Star Sports.
He said, “If Rishabh Pant has to be defined in one word, it would be fearlessness. He has no fear in him and plays cricket without any fear. He always plays aggressive cricket and puts the opposition team under pressure.”
If we talk about the match against Afghanistan, Team India had a slow start while batting first but after Rohit was out, Pant came on the field and started playing aggressive cricket. Although, he could not play a long innings in this match but played an aggressive innings of 20 runs in 11 balls. During this, 4 fours came off his bat. Seeing this innings of his, Sidhu has praised him a lot.
