Virat Kohli was furious with Rishabh Pant after the latter was dismissed in IND vs BAN Super 8 match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Pant was dealing in runs before his habit of getting over agressive resulted in his downfall.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli got the starts but couldn’t carry on for a long time. The Indian captain accumulated 23 runs off 11 balls before Shakib Al Hasan got rid of him. Kohli managed 37 runs but was bowled by Sakib. Suryakumar Yadav hit a six but he was undone by the rival pacer, with India being 77/3.

Rishabh played a few shots to put Bangladesh on the back foot. India crossed the 100-run mark, with the southpaw reaching 36, packed with 4 fours and 1 six. He went for a reverse sweep against Rishad Hossain but the ball went straight to the fielder, who completed the catch at the short third man.

Kohli looked dejected and was seen saying something before covering his mouth with the towel. He also had a chat with Pant in the dugout.
