Lucknow: Former South African great batsman AB de Villiers was called Mr. 360 because he was adept at playing shots all around the field. This player may have said goodbye to cricket but the innings played by him are still in the minds of the fans. So now India's star player Suryakumar Yadav is considered the new Mr. 360 in cricket because he also hits shots all around the wicket like de Villiers. While comparing these two players, former Indian team's legendary off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has given a shocking statement.

Harbhajan believes that the work that Surya is doing for his national team i.e. India in the T20 format, de Villiers did not do that for South Africa. Let us tell you that after failing in the first two matches in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the right-handed batsman has returned to his old rhythm. First he played a half-century against co-hosts United States and then scored a half-century in 27 balls against Afghanistan. In such a situation, while talking on Disney Plus Hotstar, Harbhajan has given a shocking statement.
He said, “When I started calling Suryakumar Yadav Mr. 360, people started abusing me that how can you say this. I have also played cricket and have seen Surya playing. The work that Suryakumar has done for his national team i.e. Team India, AB de Villiers has not done that work for his country. He has definitely performed like that in IPL but he could not do that for the country. Surya is the best T20 player in the world today and there is no one ahead of him in the whole world.”
If we look at the T20 statistics of these two players, Suryakumar's statistics look better than the former African player. In fact, the 33-year-old has played a total of 65 T20 matches in his career so far, in which he has scored 2253 runs with an average of 45.06 and an extraordinary strike rate of 168.51. During this, 4 centuries and 19 half-centuries have come from his bat.
AB de Villiers statistics

Apart from this, his figures in IPL are exactly the opposite, the former right-handed batsman scored 5162 runs in 184 matches at an average of over 39 and a strike rate of over 150. During this, he scored 3 centuries and 40 half-centuries.
