Hardik Pandya has become a different player in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. After his below-par performances for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2024, the all-rounder was under the scanner. However, he left the past baggage behind and is now winning games for India in the global tournament.

Hardik has contributed with the bat and ball and the star cricketer was named the Player of the Match against Bangladesh.

He scored a fifty and also took a wicket in India’s win by 50 runs. The Men in Blue are undefeated in the Super 8 stage with victories over Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

Former India player Ambati Rayudu compared Hardik Pandya with Abdul Razzaq. He commented when Pandya was bowling during Bangladesh’s chase.

“Hardik Pandya is like Abdul Razzaq. He has a similar bowling style like the former Pakistan all-rounder. Hardik doesn’t give room to the batters and often surprises them with a change in pace,” Ambati Rayudu said on Star Sports.

In 5 matches, Hardik has taken 8 wickets at an average of 13.75 and an economy of 6.47.

He has amassed 89 runs at an average of 44.50 and a strike-rate of 141.26.
