Team India: Team India is currently participating in the T20 World Cup 2024 going on in West Indies and America. After the end of T20 World Cup 2024, Team India has to play series against strong teams like Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and England. After playing in the T20 World Cup, Team India has to play the next ICC event in Pakistan in the month of February 2025.

Before participating in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan, Team India has to play a series of 3 ODIs against a strong team like England. Which will start from 6 February.

For your information, let us tell you that in that series, KL Rahul will be the captain of the team while Shreyas Iyer can be seen handling the responsibility of vice-captaincy.

There is a 3 ODI series against England

A series of 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches is to be held between Team India and England (IND VS ENG) in the month of January-February 2025. Talking about the ODI series, Team India will play its matches on the grounds of Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmedabad. In these matches, the selection committee can select the squad which can be selected for the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in the month of February.

KL Rahul will get a chance as captain

After the T20 World Cup 2024, the BCCI selection committee can take away the captaincy of the white ball format from the current captain Rohit Sharma and give it to other players.

Talking about the ODI format, the captaincy of Team India can be given to KL Rahul, while the responsibility of vice-captaincy can be given to Shreyas Iyer.
