• After defeating Afghanistan by 9 wickets, Aiden Markram has said a big thing about his players.
  He advised the African players not to be afraid. He said “This is the next step for us. We are going to play the final for the first time, but there is nothing to be afraid of. This victory means a lot to us.
• We have many world class players, but to perform like this the entire team has to play as a unit.
• It was challenging to bat in these conditions. Luck favoured us as we were able to maintain a partnership. Some matches were close and those who woke up at dawn to watch the match in South Africa would have been left breathless, but thankfully that did not happen today."
