Desk: India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final of the 20-20 World Cup played in Barbados. In a thrilling match, India defeated South Africa and won the T20 World Cup for the second time and ended the drought of winning the ICC title after 11 years. In the last over, Surya Kumar Yadav took a brilliant catch of Miller and ensured victory for India. India has won the World Cup after 13 years.

Batting first, India scored 176 runs in 20 overs. Virat Kohli played a big innings in the final match and scored 76 runs. Axar Patel gave a great support to Virat Kohli. India lost three wickets soon but after that Virat and Axar took charge of the innings. Klaasen and Miller played big innings for South Africa. Jaspreet Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya made a comeback for Team India at the last moment and stopped South Africa at just 171 runs.
