Along with winning the World Cup, two great Indian players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have said goodbye to this format. Both Rohit and Virat will no longer be seen playing T20 cricket for India. In such a situation, former great batsman of India and God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar has given a big reaction on the retirement of these two players. Sachin has expressed his opinion on the retirement of both these players.

Let us tell you that the Indian team has performed brilliantly in this World Cup and they remained undefeated throughout the tournament. India has won an ICC trophy after 11 years and ended this drought. In such a situation, Kohli and Sharma considered it a golden opportunity for their retirement and on this occasion both the players said goodbye to this format. Sachin took the help of social media platform X to give his reaction on his retirement.
He wrote, “Rohit Sharma, I have closely seen your growth from a promising youngster to a World Cup-winning captain. Your unwavering commitment and extraordinary talent have brought great pride to the country. Leading India to victory in the T20 World Cup is the perfect culmination of your illustrious career. Well done, Rohit.”
Tendulkar also reacted to Virat and wrote, “You have been a true champion of this game. You may have faced tough times earlier in this tournament, but last night you proved why you are truly one of the greats of the gentleman's game. Competing in six World Cups and winning the last one is an experience I know well. I hope you continue to win matches for India in longer formats of the game.”
Let us tell you that both Virat and Rohit have scored more than 4000 runs in this format for India and apart from them no other player has been able to achieve this feat. Rohit is the player who has played the most T20 matches for India so far.
