Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (Ravindra Jadeja Retirement) has announced his retirement from T20 International. Jadeja informed about saying goodbye to this format through a post on social media on Sunday (June 30). Jadeja wrote in his Instagram post, “It is with great gratitude that I say goodbye to T20 International cricket. Like a determined horse galloping proudly, I have always given my best for my country and will continue to do so in other formats as well.”

Jadeja further said, “Winning the T20 World Cup was like a dream come true, it was the pinnacle of my T20 International career. Thank you for the memories, enthusiasm and unwavering support. Jai Hind.”

It is worth noting that Jadeja's performance in the current T20 World Cup was not very special. He scored only 35 runs in 5 innings, in which his best score was 17 runs. In bowling, he did not get a single wicket.

It is worth noting that the Indian team won the World Cup title by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final match. After deciding to bat first, India scored 176 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. In reply, South Africa could score only 169 runs at the loss of 8 wickets.
