BCCI Arrange Special Flight For Team India from Barbados to New Delhi : All the players of the Indian cricket team are currently stranded in Barbados due to the cyclone. After defeating South Africa in the final, the Indian team could not leave West Indies on time but now BCCI has found a solution to this. Actually, the secretary and other officials of the Indian Cricket Board are staying with Team India.
Team India will reach Delhi by the evening of 3rd July
According to reports, BCCI has arranged a special flight for Team India and all the members along with the players will fly to their country at 6 pm Barbados time. It is being told that Team India will reach Delhi on July 3 at 7:45 pm Indian time.
Due to the storm, the airport in Barbados was closed and all flights were cancelled. Due to this, all the players and support staff are still stranded there.
There was also a reserve day for the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. That is why the planning of both the teams was that they would leave for their homeland on Monday. However, due to the storm, the airport in Barbados has now been closed and due to this all the players, their families, support staff and officials are stuck there.
According to reports, the storm is hitting Barbados very fast. Due to this, all the players of the Indian team will stay in their respective hotels. No one is allowed to go out. But now BCCI has made a plan to bring back all the players and officials by a special chartered plane. Team India will be given a grand welcome in Delhi.
BCCI showered money on Team India
After winning the T20 World Cup, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jay Shah, made a big announcement and announced a reward of Rs 125 crore to the entire Indian team. Jay Shah also congratulated all the players including Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid for this victory.
