Sanjana Ganesan, Jasprit Bumrah’s spouse, treated her champion husband’s success in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 with the ice cream. Sanjana then shared an Instagram story showing Jasprit Bumrah enthusiastically flaunting the victory sign, capturing the joyous moment.

She captioned, “Took this World Champion for ice-cream in the morning.”

After India’s victory, Sanjana and Bumrah shared heartwarming on-camera moments, with the speedster embracing his wife during a post-match interview.

Bumrah proudly draped the team’s winner’s medal around his son Angad’s neck. Bumrah’s stellar performance and precision with the ball in the T20 World Cup 2024 earned him the coveted Player of the Tournament award.

Sanjana was a part of the broadcast team and travelled to the Caribbean with her son. “I really can’t process it. We were feeling confident midway through the innings, we grew increasingly nervous about the game’s direction. However, I’m thrilled we were able to secure this victory,” said Bumrah to Ganesan after the game.

“It was an amazing campaign. Angad is also here and he’s seen his father win the World Cup. It couldn’t get any better than this, and there’s no greater feeling than that to contribute to a tournament like this,” he added.

“The team’s performance was truly exceptional. Despite the high expectations, we remained composed and steadfast in our processes. Even in the final stages when the outcome seemed uncertain, we did not succumb to panic. I’m speechless,” he stated.
