Champions Trophy 2025: Team India has recently won the T20 World Cup 2024 title under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma. After winning the T20 World Cup title, Team India has to go to Pakistan in the year 2025 and play in the Champions Trophy 2025.

Regarding which, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has taken a big decision and announced that the selection committee for the Champions Trophy has decided not to give a chance to senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli in the team squad and instead give a chance to 10 uncapped players playing in IPL cricket.

BCCI will not give chance to Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in its team squad in the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan.

According to media reports, BCCI secretary Jay Shah will include Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the team squad for the Champions Trophy only if the tournament is organized in a hybrid model for India. Only if this happens, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can be given a chance to play in a big ICC tournament like the Champions Trophy (Champions Trophy 2025).

BCCI may give chance to 10 uncapped players playing in IPL cricket

According to sources in the BCCI, if the ICC refuses to organize the Champions Trophy 2025 outside Pakistan, then in such a situation, 10 uncapped players playing in IPL cricket can be given a chance to play together for Team India in the Champions Trophy.

In the list of these players, IPL star players like Anuj Rawat, Sameer Rizvi, Simarjit Singh, Swapnil Singh, Nehal Vadhera, Rasikh Dar, Mohsin Khan, Angrish Raghuvanshi, Naman Dheer and Mayank Yadav can be given a chance.
