India vs Bangladesh: The series between India and Bangladesh is to be played this year and there is still a long way to go for it but even before that a player has withdrawn his name. In such a situation, the withdrawal of the player's name before the start of the series is the biggest setback.
Let us tell you that a 2-match Test series and a 3-match T20 series are to be played between these two teams and even before that the players have started withdrawing their names.
Bangladesh's experienced player Shakib Al Hasan has withdrawn his name before this tour and there is every possibility that he will not be seen playing against India. His withdrawal before the series is a big setback for the Bangladeshi team.
Shakib is one such player who could have used his experience during the Test series against India but now he has decided not to play against Team India. Hasan currently wants to play in the T20 league and due to this he will not come on the tour of India.

Actually, Major League Cricket 2024 (MLC 2024) is starting in America from July 5 and Shakib left for America on July 1 to participate in it. Now he has said that “I don't have many plans and I have two T20 tournaments ahead of me. This includes first MLC and then Canada's Global T20 League. I will consider further plans only after playing in these two tournaments.
In international cricket, I am planning for the series against Pakistan. Now I don't have enough time to focus on planning for the next 3 to 4 years, rather I am now at that stage where I can plan for the next three or six months and that is what I am doing right now."
Let us tell you that on this tour, the Bangladeshi team has to play a two-Test match series first. The first match of this series will be played on 19 September at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, while in the second match both the teams will face each other in Kanpur from 27 September.
If we talk about the T20 series, it will start from October 6 and its first match will be played in Dharamsala. The second match will be played on October 9, while the final match will be played on October 12.
