Stars like Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya were featured in the video. In the video, India head coach Rahul Dravid could also be seen raising the flag.

Shah wrote “JAI HIND” as the post’s caption.

Social media users’ responses to the video have been varied.

One of them said how the squad was constantly supported by the BCCI official. “Always there for the team,” he wrote.

Another said Shah ought to be recognized for his part in the momentous victory as well. “Jai Bharat, Jay Hind.” “Jay Sir, you too deserve some recognition, Jai Jay Shah,” he said.

“Thanks, Jay Shah for a memorable moment,” another person said.

Shah was referred to by one user as the Men in Blue’s 12th man. The reply said, “Congratulations, 12th Man of India. We won the World Cup just because of you.”

“Well done, Jay Shah. As a genuine administrator, you excel. Another person remarked, “You make us a proud and powerful country in cricket.”

Since taking up the position of BCCI secretary in 2019, Shah has been a crucial member of the organization.

The BCCI secretary made a well-known prediction that Rohit and his team would win the T20 World Cup in Barbados.

“Everyone was anticipating my remarks over the World Cup. Despite winning ten consecutive games, India did not win the World Cup in 2023, but we did win hearts. However, I want to guarantee that India will win the T20 World Cup in Barbados in 2024, led by Rohit Sharma,” he had said before to the third Test match between India and England in February of this year, when SCA Stadium in Rajkot was renamed Niranjan Shah Stadium.

India, spearheaded by Rohit, made sure Shah’s prophecy came true by defeating South Africa in the championship game to win their second T20 World Cup.
