South Africa Tour: The Indian cricket team has to play a four-match T20I series on the South Africa Tour this year. Team India's regular T20I captain can be appointed before this tour. In this team, three players each from Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) can get a chance in the team.
Three players from Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings team may get a chance for the South Africa tour.
This list includes Chennai Super Kings captain Rituraj Gaikwad, all-rounder Shivam Dubey and fast bowler Tushar Deshpande.Three players from Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore team can also be included in the team for the South African tour. In this list, aggressive batsman Rajat Patidar, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj and Yash Dayal can be included in the team.
Three players from the Rajasthan Royals team, the champion of the first season of IPL and captained by wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson, can also get a chance, in which RR captain Sanju Samson, Riyan and wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal can get a chance.
Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal were part of Team India's T20 World Cup squad. However, both these players did not get a chance to play a single match.The Indian team will play a four-match T20I series on the South Africa tour. The first match of the series between India and South Africa will be played on 8 November at Kingsmead, Durban. The second match of the series will be played on 10 November at St. George's Park, the third match on 13 November at Super Sport Park, Centurion and the last match on 15 November at Wanderers, Johannesburg.
