Happy Birthday Sourav Ganguly : Today is the birthday of former Indian cricket team captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.

He is celebrating his 52nd birthday today. Ganguly was born on 8 July 1972 in Kolkata. Sourav Ganguly was one of the great captains in Indian cricket history. But on the special occasion of his birthday, we will tell you about his love story, which is no less than a film story.

He secretly made Donna Roy his life partner

Apart from sports, Sourav Ganguly was also quite famous for his love story.

This is because he had decided to marry his childhood friend, but his family was not in favour of this. So Dada crossed all limits and married Dona Roy on 12 August 1996 without informing his family. Both knew each other very well since childhood and were also neighbours, but after a few days the secret of their marriage was revealed.

Because of this, I had to get married a second time

After the marriage, Dada went on a Sri Lanka tour, then everyone came to know about their marriage and then Ganguly's family bowed down and accepted Dona as their daughter-in-law.

After this, next year i.e. on 21 February 1997, Sourav Ganguly married Phil Dona once again with full rituals. Dada himself revealed about his two marriages during an interview.

Sourav Ganguly's memorable international career
