How the prize money of ₹ 125 crore for India’s T20 World Cup winning team will be divided

India's T20 World Cup winning squad was rewarded handsomely as BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had announced a prize money of Rs 125 crore.
Shah had made the announcement on June 30 via X (formerly Twitter).  
The details of how the entire amount of Rs 125 crore will be split has been now been reported by Indian Express. According to a report dated July 8 published on indianexpress.com all 15 players of the squad along with the members of the coaching staff, support staff, the backroom staff and the members of the selection committee will be benefited. The 15 cricketers who were part of the winning squad will get Rs.
5 cr. each. The 15 cricketers include the 12 players who played at least one match in the tournament and three players who could not get a game to play. The three players who warmed the benches throughout the tournament were opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson and leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Beyond the 15 players, there were four players who acted as travelling reserves.
They were Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed. These four players are poised to earn Rs. 1 cr. Further, Rahul Dravid, who was the head coach of the team will also earn Rs. 5 crore. The T20 World Cup was Dravid's last assignment as the head coach of the team. : Rohit Sharma confirmed as the Indian captain for WTC and Champions Trophy 2025 During his time as the head coach of the cricket team Dravid worked closely with Vikram Rathour, T Dilip, Paras Mhambrey. The troika formed the core coaching group. Rathaour was the batting coach, Dilip was the fielding coach and Mhambrey was the bowling coach. The three men are set to earn Rs, 2.5 cr. each from the corpus of Rs. 125 cr. According to the report team India's backroom staff comprises of three physiotherapists, three throwdown specialists, two masseurs and the strength and conditioning coach. Each of these persons will soon get Rs. 2 cr. The five-member selection panel headed by Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar will also reap financial reward from the largess shown by Shah. Every member of the selection committee will be earning Rs. 1 cr. Beyond the prize money announced by Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had also announced a cash reward of Rs. 11 crore for the Indian cricket team which won the T20 World Cup. The announcement was made las week in the central hall of the Vidhan Bhavan (state legislature complex) in Mumbai where four Mumbai players from the team -- captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey -- were felicitated.
