Gautam Gambhir: A two-match Test series is to be played between India and Bangladesh this year and for this series, the captain of Team India is going to be Gautam Gambhir's disciple. Apart from this, veteran batsman Virat Kohli may be out.
Let us tell you that this series will be played between the two teams in September and its first match will be played on 19 September at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While the second match will be played in Kanpur from 27 September.
Actually, Rohit Sharma will be the captain of the Indian team in this series and he will be seen leading Team India.
Let us tell you that Gambhir has praised Rohit many times and also supported him when he was made the captain of Team India. While talking during IPL 2024, Gambhir had told that he did not have to think much to make a strategy against any player, but if any player had disturbed his night's sleep, it was Rohit Sharma. Rohit is such a player against whom even if you make Plan A, Plan B or Plan C, it would still fall short and it would be very difficult to get him out.

Veteran batsman Virat Kohli may be out of this series as Kohli has been playing cricket continuously since IPL 2024 and he has not taken any break till now.
However, Kohli has been traveling continuously after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Virat played for Team India throughout the World Cup and after that also attended India's Victory Parade at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After the parade, Virat left for London the same night, where his family is present. In fact, since becoming a father for the second time, his wife Anushka Sharma is in London and has not yet returned to India. In such a situation, to give time to his family, the legendary batsman may withdraw his name from this series and it is possible that he may not be seen playing in the Test series against Bangladesh.
