Team India: Team India is currently playing a T20 series on the Zimbabwe tour. After the ongoing T20 series on the Zimbabwe tour, the Indian team has to play T20 series against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Team India has to play its first T20 series on the home ground against Bangladesh from the month of October.

The selection committee has shortlisted the names of the players for the Bangladesh T20 series to be held in the month of October. After which it is believed that India's Jacques Kallis will play the responsibility of captaincy for Team India in the T20 series against Bangladesh, while the responsibility of vice-captaincy can be given to India's Adam Gilchrist.

Hardik Pandya will be the captain of Team India

Team India's legendary all-rounder Hardik Pandya has the title of Jacques Kallis in Indian cricket. Team India captain Rohit Sharma has announced his retirement from the T20 format. After which Hardik Pandya will also be seen captaining Team India in the T20 format. The selection committee will hand over the captaincy of Team India's T20 format to Hardik Pandya before the Sri Lanka T20 series to be held in July.

Rishabh Pant will be the vice-captain of the team

Rishabh Pant, famous as Adam Gilchrist of Indian cricket in world cricket, has played an important role in making the Indian team the champion in the T20 World Cup 2024, on the other hand, after the retirement of senior players from the team, Rishabh Pant can now take over the responsibility of the new vice-captain of Team India.

Talking about the leadership role of Rishabh Pant, he had earlier captained Team India in the South Africa T20 series in the year 2022.
