Abhishek Nair can become batting coach

Abhishek is currently the batting coach of KKR and if Gambhir becomes the next coach of India, he can include Nair in his coaching staff.

Nair and Gautam are considered very good friends because they both work together for Kolkata in the IPL. As India's fielding coach, a close associate of Gambhir is going to take the coaching position of Team India.

Former South African player Jonty Rhodes is the strongest contender for this post and he is also close to Gautam. Both of them have worked together for Lucknow in the IPL and now it is almost certain that Rhodes will become the fielding coach.
