Delhi: Bengaluru Police has taken action against the pubs owned by Indian team's legendary batsman Virat Kohli, who recently returned after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title. An FIR has been registered against these pubs located on MG Road. According to the information, Kohli returned home after winning the World Cup and also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the team. After this, he also participated in the Vijay Parade in Mumbai.

DCP Central of Bangalore Police said that we have taken action against three-four pubs last night, which are accused of keeping the pubs open till 1:30 am. Police had received complaints about loud music being played in these pubs. Pubs are allowed to remain open only till 1 am and no pub can remain open after that.

According to media reports, Kohli is currently in London with his family. He announced his retirement from T20 International cricket after the T20 World Cup final. Reports are also claiming that Virat will not be a part of Team India in the ODI series to be played against Sri Lanka later this month.

This matter came to light when Kohli attended the Vijay Parade in Mumbai and after this, the police took action on his pubs in his absence. It remains to be seen whether there is any response from Kohli or his team in this matter. Meanwhile, fans are disappointed with the news of Virat not playing in the ODI series, but are celebrating his achievements.
