Team India: A series of 5 T20 and 3 ODI matches is going to be held between Team India and England (IND VS ENG) in the beginning of the year 2025. For which the selection committee can soon shortlist 15 players.

According to media reports, the selection committee headed by chief selector Ajit Agarkar may give chance to not 1-2 but 6 openers in the 15-member team squad, while an all-rounder may get a chance in the Team India squad.

In which the selection committee can give chance to Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Rituraj Gaikwad, Abhishek Porel and Anuj Rawat.

By giving chance to these 6 star openers, the selection committee will shortlist the list of opening batsmen for the T20 World Cup 2026.

The selection committee can decide to include only one all-rounder in the team in the 5 T20 match series against England. According to which it is believed that Hardik Pandya can be given a chance in the 15-member team squad.
