Virat Kohli: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah has announced the name of former Indian cricket team opener Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of Team India. Gautam Gambhir won the IPL 2024 title while mentoring Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier, Gambhir has played the role of mentor for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL.

Gautam Gambhir has found a replacement for Virat Kohli in ODIs for Team India as soon as he took over the responsibility of the post of head coach.

This player can be seen playing in the ICC Champions Trophy to be played in Pakistan next year.
