But following their superb victory, there was no celebration due to the immediate World Cup duties for many players. But the Knight Riders have now decided to organize a grand celebration of their triumphant season at the Eden Gardens. The event will have most of the KKR players and it will be conducted in between the Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka series. KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan is also set to be present on the day. When will be the KKR Celebration? The KKR Trophy Celebration is going to be on July 23 at the Eden Gardens. Many of the top stars of the team are expected to be present. The Indian contingent and few of the foreigners are likely to attend the celebration. Will Gautam Gambhir be present at the KKR Event? Gautam Gambhir has left the role at KKR following his appointment as the India head coach. The former KKR captain played a huge part as a mentor and his first season at the franchise brought about a grand success. The KKR management organized the event on July 23 to facilitate Gambhir's presence, who will be taking charge of team India from the upcoming Sri Lanka series, which starts on July 27.
