India fast bowler Avesh Khan hailed Shubman Gill as bowlers’ captain after the Men in Blue’s win in the third T20I against Zimbabwe in Harare on Wednesday, 10 July. Avesh dismissed Wessly Madhevere Brian Bennet. Speaking after the match, Avesh heaped massive praise on young skipper for giving freedom to the bowlers.

India scored 182 runs and defeated the hosts by 23 runs.

Avesh was happy with his performance and credited Shubman Gill for the wickets.

“Happy with my performance. I always want to have an impact with the ball. Shubman is a bowler’s captain as he gives us the freedom to execute our plans. He is the reason behind my two wickets in the third game,” Avesh Khan said.

India captain Shubman Gill was impressed with the performance of his players.

“It was a big game for us and we did well with the bat and ball. Everyone is contributing,” Shubman said.
