A similar welcome has been given to Yuzvendra Chahal. Haryana CM Naib Singh honored this player. Yuzvendra reached to meet CM Naib Singh with his mother on Wednesday night. CM Naib congratulated this player on becoming the world champion and also gifted him a beautiful statue of Shri Ram and Hanuman.

Chahal did not get a chance to play the match

Yuzvendra Chahal became the world champion but he did not get a chance to play even a single match in this tournament.

Chahal is the bowler who has taken the most T20 International wickets for Team India but he could not fit into the team combination. However, despite this, he gave full support to the team in the T20 World Cup. Yuzvendra Chahal was in the T20 World Cup winning squad, so he also got a reward of 5 crores from BCCI.

CM Naib Singh posted a photo on social media and mentioned his meeting with Chahal. He wrote, 'I met Yuzvendra Chahal, who was a part of the T-20 World Cup winning Indian cricket team and is a son of Haryana's soil. Praising Chahal, Naib Singh wrote that because of this player, the youth of Haryana have been inspired to make a career in sports.

Rain of rewards on players

After becoming the world champion, BCCI has not only given a reward of 125 crores to the players, but the state governments are also giving rewards to the players of Team India. Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey, Yashasvi Jaiswal were given a total reward of 11 crores by the CM of Maharashtra. Siraj has also been given a government job and a plot as a reward by the Telangana government.
