Sourav Ganguly celebrated his 52nd birthday on 8 July. Many cricketers and lakhs of fans congratulated him on this day. Actually, 12-year-old Adrish Haldar, a resident of Bankura district, ran away from home without telling his parents to meet his hero on his birthday. As soon as he got it, he left for Ganguly's city Kolkata, 115 km away, without telling anyone.

There the traffic police caught him. His father Shivram Haldar was worried, finally he complained about this in Kotulpur police station, after which information about his son was received and the child was handed over to him. Adrish Haldar's father thanked the traffic police and Behala police for the return of his son.
According to the Times of India report, Adrish had told the traffic police that he is a big fan of Ganguly and wants to become a cricketer. However, his father was not ready for this. Therefore, he wanted to convince his father for cricket by talking to Ganguly.Ganguly has now called Adrish Halder's entire family to meet him. Now in a few days his dream will be fulfilled and that traffic police played an important role in making his dream a reality. The traffic police guard revealed that he saw love and respect for Ganguly in Adrish's eyes.
