The record of playing the biggest innings in Test cricket is held by former West Indies great batsman Brian Lara.

The left-handed great batsman made his name in history by scoring an unbeaten 400 runs in a single Test innings against England in 2004. No one has been able to break the record of his innings till now. Now Lara has named those 4 batsmen who can break his record. He has named Jack Crowley, Harry Brook, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill.

Lara said, “In my time there were players who challenged, or at least crossed the 300-run mark – Virender Sehwag, Chris Gayle, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Sanath Jayasuriya, they were very aggressive players.

How many aggressive players do you have today?

Playing? Especially in the England team. Jack Crowley and Harry Brook.

Maybe in the Indian team? Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill. If they get the right conditions, records can be broken.

Let us tell you that Crawley and Brook have adopted a bold and aggressive 'bazzball' style of play, which is reminiscent of Lara's aggressive approach during his playing days. Both these England batsmen are also playing aggressively in the Test series being played against the West Indies. On the other hand, Yashasvi has emerged as a prime example of Lara's aggressive batting style, which was evident in his brilliant performance during the home Test series against England, scoring over 700 runs against England.

He has also scored a double century in this series. On the other hand, right-handed batsman Gill has not yet been able to reach such heights consistently in Test cricket. His highest Test score is 128, which shows potential, but this young batsman needs more opportunities and experience to play big innings in red-ball cricket.

Let us tell you that both Yashasvi and Gill are currently representing Team India in the five-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe.

India lost the first match on the Zimbabwe tour, but then made a brilliant comeback and won two consecutive matches to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Gill is captaining Team India in this series.
