It is being speculated that Gautam Gambhir, who played the role of mentor for Kolkata Knight Riders in the 17th season of IPL in the Indian Premier League, wanted to see his KKR colleagues in the Indian cricket team, including former Team India cricketer and KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, Netherlands' Ryan Ten Doeschate, who has worked as a fielding coach for KKR, in the coaching staff of the Indian team.
