The Pakistan Cricket Board is currently taking many big decisions one after the other. The Pakistan team was a complete flop in the T20 World Cup 2024. In such a situation, the Pakistan Cricket Board seems to be getting strict on its players. Recently a new selection committee has also been announced for the national team. Amidst all this, the PCB has now taken another big decision, due to which fast bowler Naseem Shah may have to face a big loss.
According to Pakistani media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board has refused to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to fast bowler Naseem Shah.
Actually, Naseem Shah was to go to England to play in The Hundred League, but he has not got permission for this. PCB has taken this big decision citing workload management. The Pakistan team has to play a Test series against Bangladesh at home next month. The availability and fitness of Naseem Shah, who is considered the main bowler of Pakistan's Test team, is more important for the team, due to which he will no longer be able to participate in The Hundred League. They will also have to face huge losses for this decision of PCB.
In fact, the Birmingham Phoenix team had included Naseem Shah in their team for £125,000 i.e. Rs 1,35,49,960.Earlier, news had also come out that the Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet given NOC to its team captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi to participate in the Global T20 Canada League. The Global T20 Canada League is going to be held from 25 July to 11 August. In such a situation, it is not yet clear whether these three star players will be a part of this league or not.
