Delhi: After Imran Mirza, father of Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, star fast bowler Mohammed Shami has also broken his silence on the news of his marriage with Sania. Recently, rumors of Mirza and Shami's alleged marriage went viral, in which it was claimed that both the stars are going to get married in August, after which Sania's father, while talking to the Indian media, clarified that all this is nonsense, Sania has never even met Shami.

Recently, in an interview given to an Indian YouTube channel, when Shami was asked about these rumours, he expressed his anger at those who spread such news and said that I request you to avoid spreading such baseless news on social media.

Shami said that it is strange to open the phone and see one's own picture. I believe that memes are for entertainment, but if it is to someone's life, then memes should be made very thoughtfully, people from verified pages share such news and run away.

The Indian cricketer further said, “One thing I would like to say is that if you have the courage, then look at the verified pages, then we tell you, it is very easy to pull someone's leg, get success, raise your level, then I believe in you. You are a good person.”

Shami told the names of his close friends

Shami revealed that Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma are his best friends and they used to call him constantly while he was out due to injury. Shami, who has been away from the cricket field due to injury since the 2023 ODI World Cup, has started bowling in the nets. He had to be ruled out due to a right heel injury, which required surgery and has been under the observation of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) since then. Mohammad underwent an operation on his Achilles tendon earlier this year.
