Team India has reached Colombo for the T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. Pandya will play only the T20 series in Sri Lanka. Due to personal reasons, he will not be able to play in the ODI series.

Why was Pandya not made the captain

Agarkar said that he wanted to make such a player the captain of Team India who is always available and that is why Suryakumar Yadav was given this responsibility.
