Stanlake was injured in the second match of the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. He suffered a side injury during his fifth over. This injury was so serious that he was out of the entire tour. Australia won the series against Zimbabwe 3-0. In the third ODI, the team registered a thrilling victory by one wicket.

Spencer Johnson played two out of three ODI matches against Zimbabwe. In the decisive match, he along with Nathan Ellis played an important role in helping the team win with the bat. After this he has been given rest.

The series will start from 24th September

The Australian team reached South Africa on Monday.

The first match of the three-match ODI series between the two teams will be played in Durban on 24 September. After this there will be matches in Johannesburg and Potchefstroom. After the ODI series, a Test series will also be played between the two teams.
