Ruturaj Gaikwad: The Indian team has to play a 3 T20 match series with Sri Lanka from July 27. For which the squad of Team India has been announced. The first match of the T20 series to be played against Sri Lanka will be played at the Pallekele ground.

Team India is practicing hard for the first T20 match against Sri Lanka. While before the Sri Lanka series, the board has now taken a big decision and handed over the captaincy of the team to young player Ruturaj Gaikwad. Due to which a big responsibility has now come upon Gaikwad.

Let us tell you that Team India's 27-year-old batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad was recently seen playing in the T20 series against Zimbabwe. After which he has now got a big responsibility.

Because, Maharashtra Cricket Association has made Rituraj Gaikwad the captain of Maharashtra cricket team for Ranji Trophy 2024-25. Due to which now Rituraj Gaikwad will be seen playing in Ranji Trophy and the responsibility of the team will also be on him. Gaikwad's team Maharashtra's first match is against Jammu and Kashmir.

Ruturaj Gaikwad did not get a chance in Team India

Whenever Team India's star batsman Rituraj Gaikwad has been given a chance in the Indian team, he has performed well on every occasion. While he also played many brilliant innings in the 5-match T20 series against Zimbabwe.
