The fourth T20I between India and West Indies will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday. If Shreyas Iyer’s side wins the game, they will wrap up the series with one match left in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Former Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara asked the team management to stick with Nitish Kumar Reddy on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old came into the playing XI for the game on Sunday in Indore. Reddy scored 21 runs off 14 balls, with three boundaries. He also bowled two overs for 19 runs and picked up the wicket of Quentin Sampson in the 16th over.

Speaking on JioStar, the 38-year-old former India batter said, “I wouldn’t want to see many changes in the top order. Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma will open the batting, Tilak Varma at number three, followed by Shreyas and Tilak Varma at 4 and 5.”

He then said, “Nitish, who I felt did a good job, deserves another chance and should bat at six. Naman Dhir has been doing really well and should bat at number seven.” Naman bowled well in the last game to claim two wickets and scored ten runs off five balls.

Pujara named Axar Patel at number eight. The 32-year-old amassed 20 runs and also claimed one scalp from his three overs.

Arshdeep Singh and Mayank Yadav were retained as pacers.

“Arshdeep and Mayank have been bowling well.”

He mentioned that the team would pick Prince Yadav or Kuldeep Yadav based on the conditions. “Depending on the wicket, it would be between Prince and Kuldeep. The management will have to pick between these two. If there is help for the spinners, then you may want to recall Kuldeep. If the wicket is similar to Indore’s track, then Prince should be in the XI.”
