Delhi captain Ayush Badoni carved his name in the record books with a second successive double century, joining Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli as only the third Delhi batter to achieve the feat in consecutive firstclass innings. In the process, Delhi seized control against Jharkhand in their Ranji Trophy Group C clash in Ranchi on Tuesday.

Badoni remained unbeaten on a commanding 210 off 228 deliveries, while allrounder Sumit Mathur compiled a career-best unbeaten 150 as Delhi declared their first innings at 515/5 on Day Two. In reply, Jharkhand reached 131/4 at stumps, trailing by 384 runs with six wickets in hand.
