Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has traded Khaleel Ahmed and Nathan Ellis to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in exchange for Liam Livingstone and Jack Edwards, the Indian Premier League (IPL) announced on Thursday.
Ahead of the IPL retention announcement on November 17, the two former champions have completed a double-player trade.
England all-rounder Livingstone, who was bought by SRH for Rs. 13 crore at the IPL 2026 auction, endured an underwhelming season. He will now join CSK for a reduced fee of Rs. 6 crore, while Australian all-rounder Edwards will move to Chennai for his auction price of Rs. 3 crore.
India pacer Khaleel will return to his former franchise, SRH, for his existing fee of Rs. 4.8 crore. Meanwhile, Ellis, who missed last season due to a foot injury, will join the Hyderabad-based franchise for his auction price of Rs. 2 crore.
The IPL mini auction will take place on December 16.
